POTABILIZATION

DRINKING WATER

The filtration lines allow prepare organoleptic and physico-chemical parameters of groundwater and surface water to appropriate values for human consumption. Its use is appropriate for treating water from superficial catchment in reservoirs, rivers, canals or areas with high water tables.

Flocculation and sedimentation prior to the filtration process guarantees results with minimum energy consumption.

Additional processes of iron removal by chemical oxidation or forced aeration, softening by decalcification and remineralization are easily fitted to this basic treatment line. Its programmed automation allows set the operation up to the various types of water to be treated.

The applications of reverse osmosis treatments are set by the ability to separate solutes in dilution actively using semipermeable membranes. With this type of treatment as an example, it is possible to obtain desalinated water starting from a source of brackish water, as seawater.
